DESCRIPTION:Get Tickets\n\n\n\n\nSet 1: Sarah Clausen/Hunter Diamond Duo  \n\n\n\nSarah Clausen is a saxophonist\, sound artist\, and composer based in Chicago\, IL. Using woodwinds\, synthesizers\, and electronics\, Sarah evokes much of the unexplainable feelings of warmth\, depth\, and nostalgia of the human experience through her compositions and soundscapes. \n\n\n\nHunter Diamond is a creative woodwind and sound artist living and performing in Chicago. Though he is most at home in the improvised music scene\, a mixture of conceptual\, composed\, and improvised performance keeps him perpetually present in the interdisciplinary Chicago creative arts community. \n\n\n\nSet 2: Peter Maunu\, Kent Kessler\, Julian Kirshner  \n\n\n\nJulian Kirshner reassembles a collective improvising trio alongside veterans Peter Maunu and Kent Kessler. This intergenerational band draws from different corners of the jazz and improvised music tradition\, paying homage to the Chicago scene\, the 80’s fusion landscape and contemporary experimental music.
